Do anyone seriously think Saudi Arabia will be around in 2050? Before 1950 they were nothing and by 2050 will be back there again. When you only export goods are petroleum and ISIS-chan, future isn't bright...

Japanese economy is 100% dependent on saudi hydrocarbon ever since they closed many of their nuclear powerplants in the aftermath of 2011 tsunami. So they'll do anything to please the wahhabi sheiks. Their culture is also somewhat similar: supression of women in real life, a fancy for beheadings and some weird lewd preferencies (giant squid, goat, camel...)

You couldn't be more wrong!

Japan's dependency on fossil fuel is approximately 87%. It means 87% of all energy consumed in Japan yearly is from fossil fuel (crude oil, coal, LNG). The share of crude oil, coal and LNG in Japan's energy is around 38%, 25% and 24% respectively.

Japan imports no coal and LNG from Saudi Arabia and only about 40% of its oil imports is from KSA. It means the share of Saudi oil in Japan's yearly energy basket is only around 15% (= 40% * 38%). So it's not 100%!!!, it's only 15%.

Also their cultures are completely different. Really different.

BTW one shouldn't talk about things they know nothing about!
